Update on Steve “Mongo” McMichael – Former WCW star Steve “Mongo” McMichael, diagnosed with ALS in 2021, has faced significant health challenges recently. However, there’s some positive news on the horizon.

After battling MRSA and requiring a blood transfusion, McMichael is reportedly responding well to antibiotics.

According to family friend and sports anchor Jarrett Payton, there’s hope that McMichael will be able to return home by Tuesday.

Despite his health struggles, McMichael’s induction ceremony is scheduled for August 3 in Canton, Ohio, alongside other football legends like Dwight Freeney, Randy Gradishar, Devin Hester, Andre Johnson, Julius Peppers, and Patrick Willis.
