Kevin Nash Unable to Attend Sting’s Last Match Due to “WWE Position” – On his Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash revelaed he won’t be able to attend Sting’s final match at AEW Revolution due to his position with WWE. Nash explained that his ties to WWE prevented him from attending, as even being in the crowd would have posed complications.
“He asked me to be a part of it. I just said that because of my positioning with the company, with WWE, I couldn’t. I couldn’t even be there. If I went in the crowd, it would be…He said he wanted me to be there because I was just one of the guys that’s been with him the whole run. He was disappointed. I was disappointed. I knew, I asked. You know when you ask and there’s that three or four-second pause, and it’s just like, ‘Okay…,'” Nash said.
It’s worth noting that Nash had previously mentioned in October 2023 that he hadn’t signed anything with WWE.
Sting’s legendary career will come to an end at AEW Revolution, as he will wrestle his last match. There, he and Darby Allin will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Matthew and Nicholas Jackson. Given the special occasion, it’s fair to expect that some legends from Sting’s past will be in attendance.
