Drew McIntyre Trolls CM Punk; Seth Rollins Explains Battle Against The Bloodline – Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins faced off in the aftermath of McIntyre’s win at WWE Elimination Chamber on the February 26 episode of WWE RAW.
In an in-ring promo, Drew McIntyre spoke about the injuries he suffered at Elimination Chamber, including a burst eardrum. McIntyre mocked CM Punk by noting that he wouldn’t miss WrestleMania the way Punk had to. McIntyre said the doctors told him he might not make WrestleMania, and he asked them, “Who do you think I am, CM Punk? Nothing is gonna stop me making Mania” He also took a shot at Punk and his straight-edge lifestyle by saying he drank enough for the both of them after his win.
McIntyre then called called out World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and told him to back off from The Bloodline, as he did not want his win at WrestleMania to be tainted. Rollins admitted that McIntyre might be right, as his injured knee and back may not be 100% by WrestleMania, and fighting The Bloodline was a risk.
However, he emphasized that it was a risk worth taking, as The Bloodline may come for the World Heavyweight Championship if they were not stopped. He also stated that McIntyre could be wrong, and he ended the message by expressing his hope that the best man would win.
Rollins said that their main priority should be taking down The Bloodline, and after that, it would just be the two of them left. He ended the confrontation by saying some risks are worth taking, and that included fighting The Bloodline.
