As a fourteen-time WWE world champion, Orton is on the verge of inching closer to Ric Flair and John Cena’s record of sixteen world title reigns.
In a recent interview with Kayla Braxton on The Bump, Orton discussed the prospect of winning another major championship at this stage in his career.
“It’s not something that I harp on because I’ve been so fortunate,” Orton said. “The fourteen title reigns that I’ve had, that means a lot to me. So making it fifteen, making it sixteen, of course I would love for that to happen. It doesn’t keep me up at night, dreaming of that next title shot, because I think I know that it’s in the cards. I feel healthy enough. I feel like I’ve got plenty of time left in my career to where I’m going to come back around, and I’m going to be wearing that title at least one or two more times.”
