Cody Rhodes Addresses WrestleMania Rumors After SmackDown Went Off the Air

Cody Rhodes Addresses WrestleMania Rumors After SmackDown Went Off the Air – Cody Rhodes has boldly declared his intentions to triumph in the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble and headline WrestleMania 40, driven by the desire to conclude his story after facing defeat against Roman Reigns last year.

Recent rumors circulating around WrestleMania, particularly The Rock’s return at WWE Raw Day One and the ensuing tease of a match with Reigns, have fueled speculation about potential changes to the planned narrative. Additionally, uncertainties have arisen with World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins nursing a torn MCL and partially torn meniscus and potentially be forced to relinquish the Title.

Following 1/19 episode of WWE SmackDown at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, Cody Rhodes took the opportunity to address the crowd after the show went off the air. Reflecting on his recent journey, Rhodes acknowledged the swirling rumors about WrestleMania. Despite the uncertainties, he passionately asserted his determination to bring a championship home to Atlanta.

“I’ve done a few silly things. But all of them were in the efforts to give this city, the town, the community that raised me something to remember. When you’re home, you share things that only you would share at home. Here’s one. There is only one thing that makes me tired of coming home. The only thing that makes me tired when coming home is coming home empty-handed. I think we need to change that. I am not immune to all the news, everything that’s happening, what will happen, what won’t happen. All I can tell you is this. I’m the right man for the job. I’m the best man for the job. I’m heading into the Royal Rumble, I’m gonna go back-to-back, and I’m gonna bring a championship back home to Atlanta,” Rhodes said.

As the wrestling world eagerly anticipates the unfolding drama leading up to WrestleMania, Cody Rhodes stands firm in his determination to make a lasting impact and emerge victorious in the Royal Rumble.
