Rey Mysterio Re-Signs With WWE – Rey Mysterio has inked a new contract with WWE, although specific details about the agreement have not been disclosed.
Presently nursing a knee injury, Mysterio’s expected recovery time was estimated to be between six to eight weeks, following an incident on the November 10 episode of WWE SmackDown. The injury was prompted by an assault from Santos Escobar, who targeted Rey’s knee.
Mysterio’s most recent match was at WWE Crown Jewel, where he relinquished the WWE United States Championship to Logan Paul. His association with WWE spans sporadically since 2002, and he’s been a full-time fixture since 2018. Moreover, he was honored with induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2023.
Earlier reports revealed that Rey’s son, Dominik Mysterio, had also committed to a new deal with WWE.
