McKenzie Mitchell Released by WWE

McKenzie Mitchell Released by WWE – It’s unfortunate news that WWE NXT announcer McKenzie Mitchell has confirmed her release from WWE. Mitchell shared the update on her Twitter account, expressing gratitude for her time with the company, reflecting on the connections made and experiences garnered during her tenure.

She acknowledged the significant moments in her WWE journey, including meeting her husband, relocating from Connecticut to Florida for WWE NXT, and forming lasting friendships that became akin to family. Despite this chapter coming to a close, Mitchell maintained a positive outlook, emphasizing her belief in opportunities arising even when one door closes.

Today I was released by WWE. I met my husband, moved cross country from CT to FL for @wwenxt (a place I’ve always considered home), and met friends that became like family. I’ve always said and firmly believe in “when door closes, another opens.”

Before her time with WWE, Mitchell had a stint as an interviewer for Impact Wrestling from May 2016 to January 2019. Upon joining WWE in September 2019, she contributed to shows like The Bump and served as an interviewer for NXT, leaving her mark on the wrestling community during her tenure.
