Following an unfortunate tumble from the top rope during her match against Asuka on the December 8 episode, Flair encountered a knee injury that has led to a nine-month absence from action, as confirmed by WWE on tonight’s SmackDown episode.

The awkward fall left Flair visibly struggling to bear weight on her knee for the duration of the match, ultimately leading to her defeat by Asuka. During the bout, Flair conveyed her distress, audibly citing “my knee” to referee Charles Robinson. Subsequently, she was assisted backstage following the match for further assessment and care.
