After undergoing surgery for a torn pectoral muscle in October, he made a comeback in June. His AEW contract is nearing its end, though potential extensions due to missed action might factor in.
As per Dave Meltzer’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Andrade expressed uncertainty about his future during a CMLL press conference, citing multiple opportunities in 2024 without a clear choice in mind.
Meltzer’s report also suggests divergent expectations regarding Andrade’s potential return to WWE. While some within WWE anticipate his comeback, individuals close to Andrade indicate he might explore options, including staying with AEW if Tony Khan presents an enticing offer. Moreover, Andrade expressed interest in working with NJPW and participating in FantasticaMania in February, but scheduling conflicts hindered these plans.
