Andrade El Idolo Reportedly Finished with AEW

Andrade El Idolo Reportedly Finished with AEW – It seems there’s a whirlwind of speculation surrounding Andrade El Idolo’s future in professional wrestling. Reports from Dave Meltzer highlighted Andrade’s uncertainty during a CMLL press conference, where he mentioned multiple 2024 opportunities without a clear decision in sight.

Regarding his potential return to WWE, there are conflicting expectations. Some within WWE anticipate his comeback, while individuals close to Andrade hint at the possibility of exploring options, including staying with AEW if presented with an appealing offer from Tony Khan. However, Andrade’s interest in working with NJPW, specifically participating in FantasticaMania in February, faced hurdles due to scheduling conflicts.

An update from WrestlePurists sources suggests that many in AEW anticipate Andrade finishing up with the company at tonight’s Worlds End PPV. There’s widespread belief within AEW that he might be making a return to WWE, with speculation circulating that it could happen as soon as the “Day 1 RAW”.

Corroborating this speculation, a source from WWE is aware of the ongoing talk surrounding Andrade and anticipates his imminent arrival to the company.

“According to WrestlePurists sources, Andrade El Idolo is expected by many in AEW to finish up with the company tonight at World’s End. He is also believed by many within AEW to be heading back to WWE. Some think it could happen as soon as the Day 1 RAW. A WWE source we spoken to is aware of the talk surrounding Andrade and is expecting him to join the company imminently.”

Reports from Fightful Select also indicate that backstage at AEW Dynamite: New Year’s Smash, Andrade was openly expressing his desire to depart from the company soon. The report suggests that his exit from AEW was met with unease, hinting at a potentially unpleasant situation, including rumors of a significant disagreement taking place.

Adding to the speculation, there’s chatter about a “former world champion” making a return for WWE’s Day 1 on Monday. While some believe it could be Andrade, there’s an equal faction that remains skeptical about this possibility, leaving the situation around his potential return to WWE somewhat uncertain.
