Adam Copeland’s Last Words to Christian Cage Pre-Clash at AEW Dynamite – Adam Copeland and TNT Champion Christian Cage have been at odds since “The Rated-R Superstar” made his AEW debut at AEW WrestleDream. Their feud has heated up over the past few months, and the former friends will battle it out on the December 6 episode of AEW Dynamite. There, Copeland will challenge Cage for the TNT Championship in Montreal.
Copeland took to social media on December 4 and shared his thoughts ahead of the bout. He noted that he and Cage have been through everything together over the past 40 years. Copeland wrote that their match will mark the first time they will face off in 13 years, and it will be their first title bout in 22 years. He highlighted their previous retirements and vowed to bring it on Wednesday night.
“For 40 years we’ve been through everything together. Triumphs. Losses. Births. Deaths. Forced retirements. Wednesday on @aew Dynamite we face each for the first time in 13 years. We haven’t wrestled each other for a title in 22 years. The TNT Championship. After both being told we’d never do this again. In Canada. Main Event. Bring it Montreal. I will. #copevscage“
At Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, Samoa Joe and AEW World Champion MJF will also team together to take on two of The Devil’s masked goons. More matches and segments are set to be announced in the coming days.
