Juice Robinson Out of Action with Back Injury – According to a report from Fightful Select, Robinson sustained a back injury recently that will require surgery to fix. No timetable was given for his recovery but the report noted that it is not expected to be an “extremely drawn-out absence.” However, Robinson is expected to be out for at least the rest of the year.
An injury angle took place in the closing moments of Friday’s Rampage broadcast which will likely be used to explain his absence. Robinson was shown bloodied up backstage and it was implied that MJF had hit him with a large TV monitor.
Robinson hasn’t wrestled since the November 1 episode of AEW Dynamite. He teamed with the rest of Bullet Club Gold and defeated the team of MJF, the Acclaimed, and Billy Gunn on the show. His last singles match took place on the October 25 episode of Dynamite when he was defeated by MJF in the 2023 Dynamite Diamond Ring finals.
