Bryan Danielson Announced as First Entrant in AEW Continental Classic Tournament

Bryan Danielson Announced as First Entrant in AEW Continental Classic Tournament – During the November 11 episode of AEW Collision at the Oakland Arena in Oakland, CA., AEW President Tony Khan and Bryan Danielson made a joint appearance in a video promo segment. The duo announced the inaugural AEW Continental Classic Tournament, a two-group round-robin style tournament akin to the G1 Climax held annually in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

The significant revelation of the night was the first official entrant in the inaugural AEW Continental Classic Tournament – none other than Bryan Danielson himself. Despite recently suffering a broken orbital bone that requires several months of recovery, “The American Dragon” is gearing up for his in-ring comeback.

It was further disclosed that Bryan Danielson’s return to the ring is scheduled for the AEW ALL IN 2024 premium live event at Wembley Stadium in London, England, on August 25. Fans can anticipate live coverage of AEW ALL IN 2024 results right here on August 25.
