Athena Calls Out Thunder Rosa – Athena and Thunder Rosa went back and forth on social media.
Former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa got involved in Billie Starkz’ match against Black Swan at TussleMania. RPH Women’s World Champion Athena responded on Twitter/X by saying she kew what Rosa was trying to do. She told Rosa she would just ask, and the champion called her a coward. Rosa fired back by saying that if that’s what Athena thought, she has her number.
Athena answered by saying that the champion does not reach out for a match. Instead, “Porcelain Hussies” come to her. She stated that she would be waiting for Rosa when she gets the courage, and she told the ROH Board of Directors that they both want the match.
Athena and Rosa clashed twice in 2022. They wrestled to a time-limit draw at Warrior Wrestling 19, and Rosa beat Athena and Skye Blue in a three-way at Warrior Wrestling 19.
Rosa has been sidelined with a back injury since August 2022. It is not known when she will return to the ring.
