Meltzer stated, “Despite the promos where The Bloodline and Heyman acknowledge Cena as ‘the second greatest wrestler of all-time,’ playing off the idea that Reigns is the greatest and incorporating Cena’s WWE tagline, as well as Cena’s confirmed appearance at Crown Jewel, we have received confirmation that Reigns vs. Cena is not the intended match for the event.”
