Matt Hardy has a reunion in mind.
Since Adam Copeland joined AEW at AEW WrestleDream, he has been trying to reunite his team with Christian Cage. Christian has told him to go fuck himself.
During their days as Edge & Christian in the WWE, they often feuded with The Hardy Boys (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy), leading to some of the most revered tag team matches in wrestling history.
Now, Matt would like a reunion of a different sort.
“Honestly, I would love to see, at some point, Adam Copeland, Christian Cage, Matt and Jeff Hardy all as heels. I would like to see that. I think there is something there that could work for AEW,” said Matt on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy.
Of the three, only Christian is a heel at the moment.
The Hardys are set to team wth Brother Zay (Isiah Kassidy) to face The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) & Hangman Page for the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Titles on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite.
