John Cena's Current WWE Run Boosts Ticket Sales

John Cena’s Current WWE Run Boosts Ticket Sales – John Cena has historically been a difference maker for WWE with business, whether that be TV ratings, ticket sales, or merchandise. He has once again moved the needle for his current run.

SmackDown has grown in that time period thanks to The Bloodline storyline, the continued elevation of LA Knight and the return of Cena, who returned on the September 1st episode of SmackDown, where he did a segment with Jimmy Uso, kicking off this WWE run for him as he has worked every SmackDown show since then.

He will wrestle Solo Sikoa at Saturday’s Crown Jewel PLE, believed to be his final WWE date for now.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer brought up WrestleTix’s report that SmackDown has sold out eight straight SmackDown shows.

“I’ll tell you what, that freaking John Cena. I mean, it’s like, since he came back there, over 10,000 every single week on Friday night. I mean, they were always drawn well anyway. But when he came back, he is a mover man. He’s a difference maker.”
