CM Punk Spotted Backstage at IMPACT TV Tapings – Leading up to the IMPACT Bound For Glory event on October 21, there was significant speculation among fans that CM Punk might make a surprise appearance at the pay-per-view, given that it was hosted in Punk’s hometown of Chicago.
IMPACT Wrestling has a reputation for pulling out all the stops for their shows, further fueling the anticipation. Speculation reached its peak when it was reported that Ace Steel, Punk’s trainer and friend, had been brought in as a producer for Bound For Glory weekend.
However, to the disappointment of many, CM Punk did not make an appearance at IMPACT Bound For Glory. Despite this, there were reports from Haus of Wrestling indicating that Punk attended the IMPACT television tapings on October 22. He arrived shortly before the tapings commenced and was directed to the locker room area. Punk reportedly took the time to engage with various individuals, including “key IMPACT talent,” during the course of the taping.
Interestingly, the report also mentioned that Punk didn’t have the opportunity to spend much time with Ace Steel, who was working as a producer at the tapings. Nevertheless, Steel received a warm reception from the backstage personnel.
