Chris Jericho Comments On Tony Khan's Controversial Tweets

Chris Jericho Comments On Tony Khan’s Controversial Tweets – Tony Khan generated significant attention both before and after the AEW and NXT head-to-head event on October 10, which saw AEW Dynamite airing on a special Tuesday night. Khan was particularly active on social media, directing posts at individuals like Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Vince McMahon, and more. Reactions to his tweets varied, with some finding them entertaining and harmless, while others believed he might have gone a bit overboard.

When asked about Tony’s social media presence on The Messenger, Chris Jericho shared his perspective. He acknowledged that working for billionaires over the years had taught him that they tend to act according to their own inclinations. In Jericho’s view, Tony Khan, being the owner and boss of AEW, has the autonomy to do as he pleases, and Jericho respects that

“I learned years ago that bosses are going to be bosses, and billionaires are going to be billionaires. I’ve been working for billionaires for 25 years. At this point, you can’t control Tony Khan. He’s going to do what he wants to do and God bless him. He created this company. He runs this company. He also grew up in the social media era. I’m not going to tell him, ‘Take your phone away,’ because he’s my boss. Say what you want. Whatever. I think it’d be worse if I said that stuff because I’m not the boss, you know?” said Jericho.

Jericho concluded bluntly, “Tony Khan owns AEW. He can do what he wants. I’m not going to tell him no.”

It’s worth mentioning that in addition to his WWE-focused tweets, Tony Khan also used social media to promote AEW, showcasing his multifaceted approach to the platform.
