Adam Cole Undergoes Ankle Surgery – Adam Cole is officially on the path to recovery after sustaining a broken ankle, with PWInsider reporting that he underwent the first surgery for the injury.

Adam Cole’s injury occurred during the AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam special when he was running to the ring during the World Title match between MJF and Samoa Joe. As he jumped off the entrance ramp to the floor at ringside, he injured his ankle and began limping. He and MJF were originally set to defend the ROH Tag Team Titles at AEW WrestleDream, but MJF went ahead with the title defense in a handicap match, ultimately retaining the titles.
