Why WWE Changed Becky Lynch's Plans

Why WWE Changed Becky Lynch’s Plans – One of the notable changes at Monday’s RAW in Salt Lake City involved removing Tegan Nox from a scheduled title match against WWE NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Instead, Natalya faced Lynch and took her spot on the show, while Nox participated in a match against Xia Li on the pre-RAW WWE Main Event tapings.

According to a report from Better Wrestling Experience, this change was made due to a decision by the WWE creative team, and it was considered a positive one. The report suggests that Natalya was included in the RAW title match as a token of appreciation for her recent hard work. While Lynch wanted to defend her title against Nox, WWE officials felt it was not the right move at that time.

There is no specific date mentioned for when the Nox vs. Lynch match might take place, but it was indicated that the bout is still planned for the future.

Fightful Select also reported that Lynch advocated for Nox to get the match on RAW, and their match had already been laid out and was set to be produced by Tyson Kidd. While there is optimistic hope that Lynch’s “Open Challenge” will continue, there is no guarantee of it.

This change came after Natalya received significant praise within WWE for stepping up and performing at WWE Superstar Spectacle in India earlier in the month. Lynch couldn’t make the event due to a passport issue, so Natalya replaced her in a match with Zoey Stark and later wrestled WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley on the same night.
