Matt Cardona Says Enough Of This Indy BS, Need To Go Back To WWE

Matt Cardona Says Enough Of This Indy BS, Need To Go Back To WWE – Matt Cardona, formerly known as Zack Ryder, has reinvented himself while outside of WWE after finding success during a long career with the company, including holding the Intercontinental and United States Titles.

In 2020, when WWE released him, he went to AEW for a short stint before finding success in Impact Wrestling, NWA, GCW, and other independent promotions.

Cardona knows how to get fans talking by teasing often that he could go back to WWE. He did so again in a Twitter video after working Sunday’s GCW Crushed Up event, where he jokingly said he wanted to go back to WWE as he was walking back to his car in the rain.

He captioned the post with “Enough of this Indy BS.” Cardona’s wife, Chelsea Green, currently works for the company.

“People want to know what it’s like to be The Deathmatch King. The Indy God. I don’t know if you can tell, it’s f**king raining. Just finished the show, GCW in Brooklyn, I’m walking to my car that I’m hoping has not been towed in the rain. I wish you could see this. It’s raining. Unbelievable. I need to go back to New York. I need to go back to WWE. Vince, call me, pal.”
