Insights into AEW Locker Room Morale Following CM Punk’s Departure – CM Punk’s departure from AEW has reportedly had mixed effects on the company’s locker room morale.

On the other hand, many others within AEW have noted that the backstage atmosphere has improved since Punk’s departure. They describe it as if a “dark cloud” has been lifted, and they’ve expressed how much fun it was during the All Out Weekend shows.
However, the Observer also points out that there seems to be a dichotomy between the improved morale and the business side of things. Live ticket sales for AEW events, even those featuring Punk, have been noted as generally lower than expected. While Saturday night shows typically draw better numbers than Wednesday shows, the ticket sales for future events have not been particularly strong, suggesting that there may be a disconnect between the backstage atmosphere and the company’s business performance.
