Britt Baker Could Miss Some TV Time to Assist Adam Cole

Britt Baker Could Miss Some TV Time to Assist Adam Cole – Adam Cole’s recent ankle injury, sustained during an episode of AEW Dynamite, has led to some adjustments in AEW programming and scheduling, including his real-life girlfriend, Britt Baker, taking time off to assist with his recovery.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select provided information during a Q&A session, stating that Britt Baker will be absent from AEW television for a few weeks as she helps Adam Cole during his post-surgery recovery. According to Sapp, Baker will play a significant role in taking care of Cole, including driving him around and assisting with daily tasks during his rehabilitation.

“I have been told that Britt will likely not be at TV for a couple of weeks because she’s going to be taking care of Adam Cole, that she had to drive him around, that he was not able to take care of himself.”

Cole’s injury occurred when he jumped off the entrance ramp to the floor at ringside during the World Title match between MJF and Samoa Joe. Following the incident, he was taken to the hospital. This injury led to a change in plans for AEW WrestleDream, where Cole and MJF were initially scheduled to defend the ROH Tag Team Titles. However, due to Cole’s need for surgery, MJF will now defend the titles in a handicap match.

The support and care provided by Britt Baker for Adam Cole during his recovery demonstrate the strong personal bond between the two AEW stars, both inside and outside the wrestling ring. Wrestling fans will undoubtedly be interested in Cole’s progress and eventual return to in-ring action.
