WWE And NFL Partnership – WWE and the NFL have forged an unprecedented partnership through their first-ever licensing agreement. The two prominent organizations announced on Monday that they have entered into a multi-year licensing deal, resulting in the creation and sale of “NFL-inspired WWE legacy title belts.” These belts will feature the official colors and branding of NFL teams.
The specially designed title belts are now available for order through various platforms, including NFL Shop, WWE Shop, and Fanatics. Each belt is priced at $549.99.
Although the press release indicated the inclusion of all 32 NFL teams, there is currently an exception. One of the belts, representing the Jacksonville Jaguars, was initially available for purchase but has since been removed from listings. This aspect is notable due to the fact that the Jaguars are owned by Shad Khan, who is the father of AEW President Tony Khan. Furthermore, Shad Khan is the chief football strategy officer for the Jaguars and also holds investments in AEW.
A fan inquired about the unavailability of the $549.99 belt on Fanatics Support’s Twitter account. The response from a support staff member indicated that the belts sold out exceptionally quickly. The reply stated, “Hey there! Those sold faster than we could have ever imagined! I would keep your eyes peeled for a restock in the next few days! #DUUUUUUUVAL.”
