Women’s World Title Match Apparently Set For WWE Superstar Spectacle – WWE is making its return to India with the upcoming WWE Superstar Spectacle event on September 8, 2023, marking the company’s first event in the country since 2017. The event is set to be held at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium, also known as Gachibowli Indoor Stadium.
This event is scheduled to take place shortly after the WWE Payback PLE event on the previous Saturday. While the Superstar Spectacle won’t be live-streamed on the WWE Network or Peacock, it is intended exclusively for the Indian market, as WWE is collaborating with its television partner in India for the event.
As of now, two matches have been confirmed for the WWE Superstar Spectacle event:
- WWE Tag Team Champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will defend their titles against the team of Indus Sher.
- John Cena teaming up with Seth Rollins to face Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci of Imperium.
Additionally, Natalya mentioned during an appearance on Twin Talk with The Cavinder Twins that she will be facing Rhea Ripley at WWE Superstar Spectacle. As of this writing, WWE has not officially confirmed this match. The last time Natalya and Ripley competed against each other was on the July 3rd episode of RAW, which was also Natalya’s most recent match on the show. It’s worth noting that Ripley is set to defend the Women’s World Title against Raquel Rodriguez at WWE Payback.
