Several names have been added to the Slim Jim WWE SummerSlam Battle Royal.
Joining the likes of LA Knight, Sheamus, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Tommaso Ciampa in the upcoming SummerSlam Slim Jim Battle Royal will be Santos Escobar, Butch, Ridge Holland, Grayson Waller, The Miz, AJ Styles, Karrion Kross, Luke Gallows, and Matt Riddle. All of these names were announced for the Battle Royal during the August 4 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
Some names were advertised via a match graphic, and more were advertised as they started to come down during the opening match on tonight’s SmackDown. The opening match pitted the first two names announced for the Battle Royal, LA Knight and Sheamus, against one another. During the match several of the competitors in the Battle Royale came out to ringside, leading to chaos and ultimately LA Knight pinning Sheamus.
Additionally, Sheamus announced during an interview with TNT Sports that Chad Gable and Otis would also be in the Battle Royal.
