Judgment Day To Appear Regularly On NXT – Fans of Judgment Day should plan on tuning into WWE NXT more often as the group is slated to make more appearances on the developmental show.
Wes Lee had been the North American Champion going into Tuesday’s episode of NXT before he dropped it to Dominik Mysterio in the main event. There was outside interference by Judgment Day as Rhea Ripley hit Lee with her Women’s Title, allowing Mysterio to win.
With 746,000 live viewers and a 0.21 rating for the 18-49 demographic, this week’s show was the second-highest ratings of the year and second-highest total viewership since 2021. WWE recently had Finn Balor and Damian Priest work a main event match with NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams that also popped a big rating.
Pwinsider reports WWE is absolutely thrilled with them appearing on the show and credited them for helping raise the ratings. Because Mysterio is the North American Champion, expect to see him bring the title belt with him on Monday Night Raw.
The report noted, “We are told that currently, there are plans in place for at least the next month, possibly longer, for members of Judgment Day to appear regularly on NXT TV as well, beyond the 2023 Great American Bash PPV.”
As noted, WWE has reportedly delayed plans for a new addition to The Judgment Day. You can click here for details.
Mysterio will make his first title defense against Mustafa Ali at the NXT Great American Bash event on Sunday, July 30, 2023, at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Austin.
