Dominik Challenges Rey Mysterio For A Match At WrestleMania 39 – Rey Mysterio was the first member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2023 to be announced, and tonight, he found himself challenged to a match at WrestleMania 39 as a result.
During an in-ring segment on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw, Mysterio attempted to talk about how his impending induction will not only be an award for himself, but for the WWE Universe as well. He was then interrupted by his son Dominik, however, who told his father that he earned his Hall of Fame induction at the expense of his family.
Dominik said that Rey chose all the strangers of the WWE Universe over his own kids, and that Rey ditched him for WrestleMania. The young Mysterio then said that he wanted to face his father at WrestleMania, to which Rey said that he has said consistently that he will never fight his own son, before walking out of the ring and past him while Dominik berated him.
