Gallus Wins Tag Team Titles At Vengeance Day – NXT Tag Team Champions New Day vs. Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) vs. Pretty Deadly (Elton Prince and Kit Wilson) vs. Andre Chase and Duke Hudson took place at Vengeance Day.
A typical start to one of these matches with everyone getting a turn to get some offense in. Pretty Deadly mocked the other teams while beating down Woods. Kofi hit a double footstomp to Prince for a near fall.
They all brawled on the floor before Wilson and Chase did a suplex from the middle rope to the floor to take everyone out. Hudson fired up and took out Pretty Deadly with a series of moves. Wolfgang put Hudson through the announce table.
Kofi got rid of Gallus before going for an outside dive, but Pretty Deadly caught him and hit a double team move. Woods went for an elbow drop, but was caught by Wolfgang and Gallus hit their finisher for the win.
This is the first title run for Gallus. The New Day began their first run with the straps at NXT Deadline on December 10, by defeating Pretty Deadly. They held the straps for 56 recognized days.
