On the November 1 episode of NXT, R-Truth was helped out of the arena after jumping and landing awkwardly on a dive to the outside while taking on Grayson Waller. The bout was stopped as a result of the apparent injury.
Taking to social media, R-Truth confirmed that he suffered a torn quad and is going in for surgery.
It is unknown how long R-Truth will be sidelined. He thanks fans for their prayers and support following his injury last Tuesday.
He was making appearances on NXT and WWE Main Event prior to his injury.
