AEW star Abadon will be on the sidelines for the foreseeable future as the wrestler suffered an injury while wrestling over the weekend for Staten Island, NY’s Warriors of Wrestling promotion.
PWInsider.com reported today that Abadon was doing a huranacanrana against Joey Ace, landed wrong, and was injured. The match was immediately stopped, and Abadon was taken to a hospital.
Per the report, the word making the rounds is that Abadon likely suffered a broken collarbone.
Abadon signed with AEW in 2020 and primarily featured on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation shows. Abadon had a feud in November 2020 with Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women’s Title.
Abadon’s last AEW match happened at the November 4th Dark taping, where the wrestler beat Leva Bates in a singles match.
