NXT 2.0 Results (3/22)– Tonight’s WWE NXT 2.0 episode opens up on the USA Network with NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams arriving in the parking lot. They hype tonight’s Stand & Deliver qualifying matches for the Ladder Match – Grayson Waller vs. A-Kid and Roderick Strong vs. Solo Sikoa. Santos Escobar qualified last week. Hayes says it doesn’t matter who qualifies because this is his world. They enter the building.
– We’re live at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida as Vic Joseph welcomes us. He’s joined at ringside by Wade Barrett. We go right to the ring for the opening bout.
Roderick Strong vs. Solo Sikoa in a Ladder Match Qualifying Match
Strong retreats to the ropes for a break. Strong with a reverse chin lock and he takes Sikoa to the mat. Strong pushes Sikoa and Sikoa punches Strong. Sikoa with a head butt. Strong floats over and Sikoa with a shoulder tackle. Sikoa kicks Strong many times. Sikoa with a shoulder tackle. Strong wtih a knee and kick. Strong with forearms and chops. Sikoa chops back. Sikoa with punches. Sikoa with a slam and diving head butt for a near fall. Strong rolls to the apron and Sikoa keeps Strong from going to the floor. Strong with a kick to the knee and he pulls Sikoa throat first into the ropes. Strong kicks Sikoa and connects with punches and forearms.
Strong with a knee to the midsection and a kick. Strong stands on the ankle and kicks Sikoa in the head. Strong with a camel clutch. Sikoa gets back to his feet and Strong sends him to the mat and follows with a kick. Strong gets a near fall. Strong with a boot to the side of the head. Strong with an arm bar. Sikoa with forearms. Strong blocks a kick and hits a back breaker. Strong gets a near fall. Strong kicks Sikoa and then Strong shows Hayes how to chop someone. Strong sets for a suplex but Sikoa blocks it. Strong blocks a suplex and stomps on the feet. Strong with forearms but SIkoa with forearms. Strong gets a boot up when Sikoa charges into the corner.
Strong with a kick to the chest. Strong gets a near fall. Strong with a double wrist lock and Sikoa with shoulders. Strong with a knee to the midsection followed by an Olympic Slam for a near fall.
Santos Escobar makes his way to ringside and Bivens notices.
Strong sets for a suplex but Sikoa sends Strong to the mat. They exchange punches. Sikoa blocks a kick and connects with an elbow to the leg and chops. SIkoa with punches to Strong. Sikoa with a splash into the corner and a Samoan drop. Sikoa gets a near fall. Sikoa goes up top and Strong with a kick to the head. Strong sets for a superplex and Sikoa with a head butt to send Strong to the mat. Sikoa with a frog splash for the three count.
Winner: Solo Sikoa
— We see Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta earlier in the day and they talk about an online poll. Persia says that Indi is jealous about how much more popular Persia and Duke are than Indi and Dexter. Persia says that her man is hotter. Indi says that Dexter is going to beat Tony D’Angelo tonight and she invites Persia and Duke to watch from ringside.

Tony D’Angelo vs. Dexter Lumis
They lock up and D’Angelo with a waist lock take down and then he backs into the ropes when Lumis slides towards him. Tony with a single leg take down and Dexter sets for Silence and Tony with an elbow. Tony with a belly-to-belly suplex and punches. Tony with a punch but Lumis with a Thesz Press and punches. Lumis sends Tony into the turnbuckles and kicks Tony. Dexter with punches and then he sends Tony into another turnbuckle. Dexter with a punch and Irish whip followed by a fallaway slam. Lumis with camel clutch. Lumis with a back elbow for a near fall.
Lumis with a slam and elbow drop for a near fall. Lumis with a reverse chin lock and Tony with a jaw breaker to escape. Lumis slides to the floor and he connects with an uppercut. Tony sends Lumis off the ring steps to the floor and he pats himself on the back.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Tony with a reverse chin lock. Tony returns to the reverse chin lock. Dexter with elbows and Tony with a kick to the chest. Dexter lands on his feet on a belly-to-back suplex attempt and Dexter punches Tony and follows with a clothesline into the corner and a bulldog. Lumis with a belly-to-back suplex and a leg drop for a near fall. Tony with a kick and punches. Dxter goes for a uranage but Tony blocks it. Both men with clotheslines at the same time and both are down.
Duke takes off his shirt and he gives Dexter some advice. Indi takes the crowbar from the steps and Persia takes it and plays tug of war with Tony. Tony pulls the crowbar away and it hits Dexter in the face. Tony with a spinning fisherman buster for the three count.
Winner: Tony D’Angelo
Tony tells Tommaso he wasn’t coming out last week to pay tribute to him. He set the hook and you were the bait. I will take care of you at Stand and Deliver.
Tommaso Ciampa makes his way to the ring through the crowd while Tony thinks he is coming from the entrance. Ciampa with Fairy Tale Ending to Tony. Ciampa takes the mic and he says you don’t get to tell him when he is done. Stand and Deliver might be my final chapter, but if it is, I will write my own fairy tale ending.
— McKenzie Mitchell is with Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler. Roode wants to talk about himself. He is a former NXT Champion. He dominated this place for 12 months. Without me paving the way, it never would have achieved the heights it did. It never would have given Bron Breakker a chance. Dolph tells Roode to pound and pummel Bron Breakker, but leave a little for him in two weeks. Bron does not measure up to the former or the current NXT Champion.

— Grayson Waller says that Stand and Deliver won’t live up to the hype if he isn’t on the marquee. Two weeks ago, he was last man standing. In Dallas, he will be the only man standing, holding on to the North American Championship. There is one man standing in my way, A-Kid. He is one of the best to come from Europe, but he isn’t me. You are nothing more than a stepping stone on his road to superstardom.
Elektra Lopez vs. Fallon Henley
They lock up and Lopez sends Henley to the mat. Lopez goes for a slam and escapes. Lopez with a forearm and Henley fires back. Henley with a kick and she goes for a Thesz Press but Lopez catches Henley and hot shots her. Lopez kicks Henley against the ropes. Lopez sends Henley into the turnbuckles and then tosses Henley across the ring by the hair. Lopez with a face plant for a near fall. Lopez tosses Henley around by the hair and sends her to the mat. Lopez with a nerve hold and then stretches Henley with her feet in Henley’s back. Henley leans back and gets a near fall but Lopez sends Henley face first into the mat.
Lopez chokes Henley in the ropes and kicks her as WIlde, Jensen, Briggs, and Mendoza fight to the back.
Henley with punches and follows with a corkscrew back elbow. Henley wtih an elbow into the corner followed by a bulldog for a near fall. Lopez sends Henley face first into the ropes and then hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for the three count.
Winner: Elektra Lopez
— Draco Anthony is in the locker room and Xyon Quinn shows up and Draco checks his phone. Quinn asks if it is Gacy and Draco shows Xyon a video message from Gacy telling Draco that he can help Draco and make his life much better. Quinn tells Draco he knows what he has to do.
— It’s “glorious time” as Bobby Roode makes his way to the ring and we go back to another commercial.
— Wendy and Dakota are in the back and Wendy says that Dakota won the Dusty Cup last year and she is going to win again this year. Dakota says she was skeptical about teaming with Wendy and she will have her name on the trophy twice. Io and Kay Lee Ray are great but this is their night.
Robert Roode vs. Bron Breakker
They lock up and Roode with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. They lock up and Breakker with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Roode with a kick and he sends Breakker into the turnbuckles. Roode with punches and kicks. The referee warns Roode and checks on Breakker. Roode with more punches and Breakker punches back. Roode with a side head lock and Breakker catches Roode on a leap frog and hits a power slam for a near fall. Breakker goes after Roode in the aisle and punches him. Breakker kicks Roode.
Breakker punches Roode in front of Ziggler. Roode is sent back into the ring and Breakker follows. Roode with a double sledge and kicks to Breakker. Roode with a suplex to Breakker. Breakker blocks a suplex attempt but Roode hits a suplex. Roode poses but Breakker pops up and hits a clothesline. The straps are down and Breakker goes for a shoulder in the corner but Ziggler pulls Roode out of the way. The referee sends Ziggler to the back.
Roode kicks Breakker and pulls him over the apron and Roode with an elbow to the chest. Roode chops Bron. Roode with a clothesline into the corner followed by a neck breaker. Roode goes to the turnbuckles. Roode with clothesline and he gets a near fall. Roode works on the neck and then applies a reverse chin lock. Roode with a kick and neck breaker. Roode with a forearm to the back of the neck. Roode with a snap mare and knee drop. Breakker blocks a punch and punches Roode. Breakker with more punches followed by an Irish whip. Roode gets his knees up and then hits a blockbuster for a near fall. Roode with a clothesline and a Steiner-esque elbow drop and he gets a near fall.
Breakker punches Roode and Roode with a neck breaker. Roode gets a near fall. Roode goes up top and Breakker punches Roode. Breakker sets for a superplex and Roode punches Breakker off the turnbuckles. Breakker with a Frankensteiner. Breakker with shoulder tackles and an overhead belly-to-belly suplex to Roode. Roode with a spinebuster for a near fall. Roode sets for the GLORIOUS DDT. Roode with a kick and Breakker escapes the DDT and hits a clothesline. Breakker sets for a spear and Roode with a knee lift. Breakker with a spear and both men are down. Breakker with an arm cover and Roode kicks out. Breakker grs Roode by the throat and presses him but Roode escapes and hits the Glorious DDT but he can only get a near fall.
Roode punches Breakker and Breakker punches back. They go back and forth. Roode with a double thrust to the throat and he punches Breakker. Roode with a punch. Breakker with punches. Roode with a back elbow and he comes off the turnbuckles and Breakker catches Roode and hits a power slam for the three count.
Winner: Bron Breakker
After the match Breakker waves to the crowd and then he turns around into a super kick from Dolph Ziggler. Dolph says you don’t turn your back on him and you will never get the title back until I want to give it up.
— We go to the locker room where Indi blames Persia for Tony using the crowbar. Persia says that her man doesn’t make any excuses and could win. Dexter goes to his Win, Lose, or Draw easel and he starts to draw like he is in the first season of Heroes. Indi says if Persia says her man can beat anyone on the roster, can he beat Gunther? Persia says that Duke can beat Gunther and he agrees.
We go to commercial.
— We are back with Chase University and Bodhi has an oral presentation about Fortitude. He talks about Von Wagner challenging him and his fortitude. Bodhi yells at someone who raises his hand while he is talking and Bodhi turns into a junior Andre Chase. Andre asks Bodhi where did he learn to talk like that and Bodhi says he earned from Andre. Andre is impressed and Bodhi says that he is going to take care of Von Wagner next week.
Grayson Waller vs. A-Kid in a North American Title Ladder Match Qualifying Match
A-Kid with a side head lock tkae down and Waller gets back to his feet. Waller with a kick and a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and A-Kid bridges and goes to the turnbuckles for an arm drag take down. Sanga blocks A-Kid’s path to Waller. A-Kid with an arm drag and drop kick. Waller with a drop toe hold that sends A-Kid into the ropes.
Solo Sikoa comes out to watch the match. Waller kicks A-Kid in the head. A-Kid with a rollup for a near fall. Waller with a clothesline for a near fall. Waller gets A-Kid up and hits a rana followed by a drop kick. A-Kid with a suicide dive. A-Kid counters the rolling cutter with a rear naked choke. A-Kid turns it into a guillotine but Waller escapes. Waller stops a springboard move with a springboard side Russian leg sweep and the rolling cutter for the three count.
Winner: Grayson Waller
Carmelo Hayes says they are missing someone from the ladder match. The three losers will be put in another qualifying match. Cameron Grimes, Roderick Strong, and A-Kid will meet. Hayes says you might be A-Kid, but you will never be A Champion. A-Kid with an enzuigiri to Williams and he gets out of the ring.
— Robert Stone and Von Wagner talk about Ikemen Jiro and what he did. Wagner says Bodhi next week and then we move on. Robert is interrupted and he has some business to talk about.

Juliuis Creed and Brutus Creed vs. James Drake and Zack Gibson
Brutus with a gutwrench to Drake. Brutus with another Karelin lift and suplex. Brutus with a knee to the ribs and Julius tags in and knees Drake in the ribs. Julius with a forearm and he sets for a suplex but he has something to say to Gibson. Drake with a sleeper and Gibson tags in and punches Julius. Gibson with a short arm clothesline. Gibson with a forearm and Julius with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. Julius with a wist lock and a stretch muffler. Gibson gets to the ropes and Julius releases the hold. Gibson gets to the ropes and he punches Brutus on the apron. Drake tags in and he hits an enzuigiri. Drake with a drop kick off Gibson’s back to knock Brutus off the apron.
Julius punches Drake and Gibson and then he knees Gibson in the ribs. Drake with a forearm to Julius. Drake with punches. Drake with kicks to the back. Gibson tags in and he has something to say to Julius while connecting with forearms. Gibson with a forearm. Drake tags in and Gibson gets Julius up and Drake leaps over Julius. Julius with a shoulder to the knee. Brutus tags in and hits a torture rack bomb and Brutus with a clothesline to the back of the head for the three count.
Winners: Julius Creed and Brutus Creed
After the match we see someone in the Diamond Mine room and they are vandalizing the room. It says you can’t find us so we will find you.
— Imperium is in the back and Gunther has some words for Barthel and Aichner. They walk into commercial.
Gunther vs. Duke Hudson
They lock up and Gunther backs Hudson into the corner and Hudson with a forearm and Gunther wants more. Gunther with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Gunther with a slam and boot to the head. Gunther with a European uppercut and Hudson with punches. Gunther with an Irish whip and he runs into an elbow. Hudson with a chop and that might have been the biggest mistake he could make because Gunther shows how to chop. Gunther pulls at the face. Gunther with a forearm across the chest. Gunther with chops and Hudson is not really interested in getting back up. Gunther with a sleeper and Hudson gets to the ropes. Hudson with an elbow. Hudson with a boot to the head.
Hudson with a punch and shoulders in the corner. Hudson with a chop and Gunther chops back. Gunther puts Hudson on the apron and Hudson with a shoulder and he slingshots in and hits a German suplex for a near fall. Hudson sets for a power bomb but Gunther escapes and hits a clothesline. Gunther with chops and a boot to the head. Gunther with a power bomb for the three count.
Winner: Gunther
After the match, Gunther says he is the most dominant competitor in NXT. It is a disgrace that someone like LA Knight can talk himself… LA Knight’s music interrupts and makes his way to the ring.
Knight wants to talk to Gunther but Gunther tells Knight to shut up. Gunther says that Knight is what is wrong with the sport. A lot of talk, but little skill. You can talk your way into the matches, but you cannot win them. Knight says if Gunther interrupts again, he will knock his head off his body. Knight says Stand and Deliver is around the corner. He was going to use his words to set up a match so he will do it a different way.
Knight punches Gunther and then Aichner and Barthel attack Knight and hold him for Gunther. MSK make their way to the ring to help Knight and then they kick Gunther and Knight with a power slam and he clotheslines Gunther over the top rope to the floor.
— We take a look back at last week’s match between Grimes and Escobar.
— Grimes says you know he wears his heart on his sleeve. We see what Grimes said last week. When he got signed to NXT it was huge. Shortly after he signed, his father passed away. That is why next week is the biggest match of his career. A final chance for the final spot in the ladder match at Stand and Deliver. A final chance to do what he said he would do to his father. Next week, Cameron Grimes does whatever it takes.

Wendy Choo and Dakota Kai vs. Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Finals
Io and Wendy start things off and they lock up. Wendy with a side head lock. Wendy with a head scissors take down but Io lands on her feet and Wendy reclines. Wendy tries for a drop toe hold but Io blocks it nd kicks Wendy. Ray tags in and Io with a drop kick and Ray gets a near fall. Ray misses a chop and Wendy with a series of strikes. Wendy blocks a suplex and hits a drop toe hold followed by a rollup for a near fall. Dakota tags in and they send Ray into the turnbuckles. Wendy with a running boot and Dakota with a running boot of her own for a near fall. Ray with an Irish whip and Dakota with a rollup for a near fall. Io tags in and Ray with a drop toe hold to send Dakota into the ropes. Wendy uses her pillow to block a Tiger Feint Kick by Io on Dakota. Io kicks Wendy.
Io Irish whips Dakota over the top rope to the floor. Wendy checks on Dakota. Ray with a suicide dive to Wendy and Io with a suicide dive that sends Dakota into the announce table. Io sends Dakota back into the ring and IO with a wrist lock and hard Irish whip. Ray tags in and punches Dakota. Ray with an Irish whip and forearm. Ray with another Irish whip and enzuigiri. Ray with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Io tags in and she connects with a forearm and slam. Io with a double knee drop for a near fall. Io with a crossface. Dakota with an elbow and forearm. Io with a forearm and they go back and forth. Io with punches to Dakota but Dakota blocks a clothesline and hits a swinging reverse DDT and both are down.
Ray and Wendy tag in and Wendy with kicks and a clothesline. Wendy with an overhead belly-to-belly throw followed by a cartwheel forearm in the corner. Wendy with a Sleeple’s Elbow for a near fall. Ray tries for the KLR Bomb but Wendy escapes and knocks Io off the apron. Wendy with a rollup for a near fall. Dakota tags in as Wendy puts Ray on the turnbuckles. Io stops a double superplex and Wendy sends Io to the floor Dakota with a Yakuza Kick. Choo with an overhead belly-to-belly superplex for a near fall. Ray and Kai with standing switches and waist locks.
Io tags in and Io with a flapjack. Io with a forearm to Wendy to knock her to the floor. Io with a Tiger Feint Kick and Ray tags in and hits a somersault senton off the turnbuckles for a near fall. Choo sends Io shoulder first into the ring post. Kai escapes a KLR Bomb and Kai with Kairopractor. Kai goes up top and Wendy tags in. Kai with a double stomp and Choo with an inward splash. Choo gets a near fall when Io drop kicks Kai into the cover and breaks it up. All four women are down. Io with a butterfly back breaker to Kai and Choo with a uranage to Io.
Ray with a head butt and she sets for the KLR Bomb and hits it. Io tags in and she goes up top for the moonsault and hits it for the three count.
Winners: Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray
After the match, Shirai’s music hits as she and KLR celebrate in the middle of the ring. Toxic Attraction stands up and looks on from the Toxic Lounge as we go to replays. The confetti falls from the ceiling as Shirai and KLR stand tall in the ring with the Dusty Classic trophy. Toxic Attraction enters the ring now. Rose calls for the music to be cut because she has something to say. She congratulates Shirai and KLR on their win, and says Choo and Kai blew it. Rose says if Shirai and KLR think they’re going to beat Gigi and Jayce to become the new champs, they’re sadly mistaken. KLR says they had one thing in mind when they got into the tournament – to destroy Toxic Attraction and the best way to do that is to go after the leader and take what’s most important to her. Shirai brings up how Rose says she’d fight any woman for the title. KLR says she and Shirai are gong to cash in their tag team title shot but instead they’re going to make the NXT Women’s Title match at Stand & Deliver a Fatal 4 Way with Cora Jade. Toxic Attraction beats Shirai and KLR down now. Jade runs down to make the save. Jade, Shirai and KLR clear the ring as fans cheer them on, sending Toxic Attraction to the floor. Jade’s music starts up while the babyfaces and the heels face off as NXT goes off the air.
