The Creed Brothers Win Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic – The Creed Brothers may have just cemented themselves as the tag team of NXT 2.0. Julius and Brutus ended up becoming the winners of the 2022 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic on tonight’s Vengeance Day special, after they unseated the 2021 winners in MSK.
This was a match of strength vs. speed as Nash Carter and Wes Lee used the latter against the Creeds’ former. The Capitol Wrestling Center sure had a good deal of their chips behind the Creed Brothers and a rock solid shot from Julius to gave the young team the hard fought win.
The Creed Brothers will now receive a title shot from NXT Tag Team Champions Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner of Imperium at a later date. They will also have their name added to the Dusty Cup trophy.
