PWInsider is reporting that Shane McMahon will be a heel and he will be appearing regularly on Monday Night Raw. There’s no word yet on who he will be feuding with but Shane is scheduled for the Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania.
Shane made his WWE TV return on Saturday night and he was in the final four of the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Prior to the Rumble, the last time he wrestled was at WrestleMania 37 against Braun Strowman.
Presumably, his return to Raw will start the build towards his WrestleMania storyline.
As noted, Dave Meltzer reported that Shane McMahon has a match on the books for WrestleMania 38 but whatever he is doing on the show has not been finalized and this is evidently the reason why they didn’t do an angle with him at The Royal Rumble to set up his opponent.
