It looks like WWE is attempting to boost the NXT 2.0 ratings with some star power from the main roster.
Earlier tonight, Grayson Waller sent out this tweet: “Did I hear that right? @AJStylesOrg wants to come to my house at @WWENXT? Just make sure you wipe your feet on the way in #WWERaw”
The announcers also mentioned Styles going to NXT tomorrow night during their commentary as Styles was having his issues with Omos.
Styles’ upcoming appearance on NXT 2.0 was essentially confirmed by a tweet from the official WWE Twitter account: “Is #WWENXT 2.0 about to become PHENOMENAL tomorrow night?”
As noted earlier, Styles is now back to being a singles star after his split with Omos. The angle that played out this week sets Omos up to be one of the top babyfaces on the Raw brand and they will have a singles match soon.
Styles’ appearance comes on the heels of record low viewership numbers for NXT 2.0.
