WWE Friday Night Smackdown drew 2.093 million viewers, which is up from the 1.032 million viewership count from the previous week’s Smackdown on FS1.
The more comparable numbers are the 2.249 million viewers and .58 rating in the 18-49 demographic drawn by the October 29 edition of Smackdown on Fox. Friday’s Smackdown delivered a .57 rating in the 18-49 demographic, which was second for the night against other broadcast network shows behind only “Shark Tank” on ABC.
Friday’s episode of AEW Rampage drew an average of 599,000 viewers, down 3.85% from last week’s taped show.
Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics noted that the show drew a 0.22 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic on November 5, which also marks a drop from the previous week; the October 29 episode drew a 0.25 rating in the same demographic.
Adam Cole vs. John Silver headlined Friday’s show, which also featured a heated confrontation between CM Punk and Eddie Kingston. Bryan Danielson opened Rampage by defeating Anthony Bowens in a singles match.
