NXT 2.0 Results (11/9)

We are live from the WWE Performance Center in Tampa, FL, as Toxic Attraction (NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose, NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) make their way to the ring.

Io Shirai, Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter are out next and we are ready for our first match of the night.

Toxic Attraction vs. Io Shirai, Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter

Mandy and Kayden start things off and Mandy sends Kayden to the mat.  Carter with a take down.  They lock up and go to a stalemate.  Io is knocked  off the apron by Mandy and Io has to be held back.  Carter with a waist lock and Mandy with an elbow and she tags in Dolin.  Dolin with a forearm.  Dolin with a snap mare and kick to the back.  Jayne with a knee and she hits a slingshot rolling neck breaker for a near fall.  Carter wtih chops and a front face lock.  Jayne with an enzuigiri and Carter with a kick.  Io tags in and she slams Jayne.  Io with a hesitation knee drop to the midsection and she gets a near fall.  Jacy with a forearm and Io blocks a kick and hits a dragon screw leg whip.  Io with a running back elbow into the corner.

Kayden and Kacy tag in and Kacy with a leg sweep and a slingshot senton for a near fall.  Jacy runs Kacy into the corner and connects with a shoulder.  Mandy tags in and Kacy escapes a slam.  Kacy with a head scissors that sends Mandy to the floor.  Kacy with a twisting pescado onto Mandy.  Carter with a double jump cross body onto Jacy and Gigi.  Mandy stops Io and hits a spinebuster.  Io, Kacy, and Kayden are in the ring while the champions relax against the announce table.  Kacy with a waist lock on Mandy and Mandy with a forearm to the back.  Mandy with a wrist lock.  Io and Gigi tag in and Io with a take down and a crossface.  Io uses the ropes to propel herself back into the center of ther ing.

Io with a rollup for a near fall.  Io with a kick and forearms.  Io with chops and she chokes Gigi in the corner.  Io with a hesitation double knee strike in the corner.  Kacy tags in and applies an arm bar.  Kacy with a waist lopck and tries for an O’Connor Roll but Gigi holds on to the ropes.  Kacy with a side head lock and Gigi with a front face lock. Kacy with a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall.  Gigi hits Kacy in the back and Kacy hits the turnbuckles.  Gigi chokes Kacy in the ropes and then she tags in Mandy who punches Kacy in the midsection.  Mandy with a body scissors.

Mandy adds a rear chin lock.  Kacy leans back to get a near fall.  Mandy grabs the ankle and Mandy with a reverse back drop suplex for a near fall.  Mandy returns to the body scissors.  Kacy with an elbow to escape.  Mandy goes for the back drop suplex again but Kacy lands on her feet.  Kacy kicks Mandy away and Io tags in and hits shoulder tackles to Gigi.  Io with a slam and kick.  Io kicks Gigi in the corner but Gigi with a cutter and she tags in Mandy.  Io with a shoulder tackle to Mandy and a flapjack.  Io with a running double knee strike for a near fall.  Gigi hits Io from behind and the referee warns Gigi.  Io goes to the turnbuckles and hits a moonsault but Jacy and Gigi break up the cover.  Kacy and Kayden decide to finally get involved and they send Jacy and Gigi to the floor.

Gigi tags in and misses a back senton.  Kayden tags in and hits clotheslines and a drop kick.  Kayden kicks Jacy on the ropes.  Kayden sends Gigi into the corner and hits a running back elbow and then hits a drop kick on Jacy in the corner and adds a splash to Gigi.  Carter with a rollup and thrust kick.  Carter with a forearm and a reverse swinging DDT.  Jacy distracts Carter and Io and Kacy stop them.  Gigi pulls Carter off the turnbuckles and hits a swinging power bomb for the three count.

Winners: Toxic Attraction

— McKenzie Mitchell is with Pete Dunne and he says if Tony D’Angelo wants to make a name for himself, he knows where he can find him. Trick Williams shows up with Carmelo Hayes and he insults Dunne and says that they are open to a challenge. Hayes asks if Dunne understood what he said. Dunne says he will break Hayes’ fingers tonight if he wants.

— We still see Toxic Attraction on the ramp. Kay Lee Ray makes her way to the ring and she walks through Toxic Attraction. Back to commercial.

— We are back with MSK and they are still walking and their address has moved. Wes tells Nash never to trust a shaman.  Wes says they are not walking.  Wes says the new address is 420 miles away so they are flying.  Wes says they need to change clothes and shower before the trip.  Nash asks if this means they join the Mile High Club.

Kay Lee Ray vs. Sarray

Sarray offers her hand and Ray shakes it and gives Sarray a short arm clothesline followed by kicks.  Ray with a forearm.  Ray with an Irish whip and clothesline in the corner.  Ray with a boot to the back of the head.  Sarray with a springboard arm drag and a victory roll into a double stomp.  Sarray with a kick to the back of the head.  Sarray with a forearm and Ray fires back with forearms.  Ray with another forearm and Sarray goes down but Sarray bridges out of the cover.  Ray sends Sarray to the mat again.  Ray with a face wash to Sarray.  Sarray with an Irish whip and an elbow in the corner.  Sarray with an Irish whip but she misses an elbow.  Ray with a DDT from the turnbuckles for a near fall.  

ay with a forearm and kick to the midsection.  Sarray ducks clotheslines and gets a near fall with a rollup.  Sarray with a single leg crab and Sarray leans back to the mat.  Ray gets to the ropes to force a break.  Sarray with a kick to the back and chest.  Sarray with a fisherman’s suplex for a near fall.  Ray with elbows and a super kick.  Sarray with a spinning back heel kick and Sarray sets for the drop kick but Ray moves and Sarray hangs over the ropes.  Ray with a knee to the head and Ray with a KLR Bomb onto the announce table.  Ray takes Sarray back into the ring and hits a KLR Bomb for the three count.

Winner:  Kay Lee Ray

— McKenzie asks Joe Gacy about his match against Boa.  Joe says people hide behind masks and his heart goes out to Boa.  Boa has to hide his true self and that is a tragedy.  He hopes that Boa can see that.  Joe says Harland shouldn’t be unconfortable living in his own skin.  Joe tells Harland to reach out and touch his hand to Joe’s.  He is doing this for them.

We go to commercial.

Joe Gacy vs. Boa

Gacy offers his hand and Boa kicks it away.  Gacy avoids a round kick and Gacy with a side head lock and he holds on when Boa tries to send Gacy off the ropes.  Gacy with a forearm and he sends Boa to the apron.  Boa with a forearm and a shoulder from the apron followed by a slingshot sunset flip for a near fall.  Boa with a drop kick.  Gacy sends Boa into the ropes and Gacy with a back breaker for a near fall.  Gacy with a forearm.  Gacy with a European uppercut and a suplex for a near fall.  Gacy works on the neck.  Boa gets to his feet and he backs Gacy into the corner.  Gacy is backed into the corner again and Boa with a snap mare.  Boa with a punch and round kick.

Boa with knees to Gacy and a knee against the ropes.  Boa with another knee against the ropes.  Boa with a butterfly suplex.  Gacy with an Irish whip and he runs into a boot.  

The lights go down and Boa powers up.  Boa with an Asiatic spike and the referee warns him to break the hold but he refuses because he is in a trance. The referee calls for the bell.

Winner:  Joe Gacy (by disqualification)

— Ikemen Jiro and KUSHIDA were asked about their match against the Creeds on last week’s show. We see The Diamond Mine training and Bivens says to look at these Milli Vanillis impersonating world class athletes.  Julius and Bruts Creed are going to use the same energy Roddy used against Odyssey Jones last week to defeat KUSHIDA and Jiro tonight.

We go to commercial.

— We are back and Silo Sikoa is with McKenzie and Grayson Waller shows up.  He talks about Sikoa’s debut.  He tells Sikoa what LA Knight said about Solo.  LA Knight says that he will say it to your face. Sikoa says he is from the street so we settle it in the ring.  Three men enter, one leaves. Knight and Waller argue.

Ikemen Jiro and KUSHIDA vs. Julius Creed and Brutus Creed

Jiro and Julius start things off and Julius picks up Jiro and gives him a back drop.  Julius with forearms.  Brutus tags in and hits a waist lock take down.  Brutus with a waist lock and Jiro escapes.  Brutus with a wiast lock and Jiro with a side head lock.  Jiro goes for a shoulder tackle but bounces off Brutus and Brutus does not move.  KUSHIDA tags in and he goes up top and hits a chop to the arm.  KUSHIDA works on the shoulder.  Brutus with a fireman’s carry and Julius tags in.

Julius with a power slam and a front face lock suplex.  Brutus tags in and KUSHIDA with a handspring double back elbow.  JIro tags in and e punches Brutus with the jacket.  He does the same to Julius.  KUSHIDA comes in and they hit double handspring kicks to knock Julius and Brutus off the apron.

We go to commercial.

We are back and KUSHIDA kicks Julius and hits a cross body.  KUSHIDA avoids Brutus and hits a Pele Kick and punch followed by a kick to the arm.Julius runs KUSHIDA into the ropes and Jiro tags in and they hit a double hip toss followed by cartwheels and drop kicks.  Jiro with a swanton for a near fall.  KUSHIDA sends Brutus to the floor and Jiro misses the Ikemen Slice.  Julius removes the jacket and Strong holds open the ropes and Jiro goes to the floor.  Julius with a Doctor Bomb for the three count.

Winners:  Julius Creed and Brutus Creed

After the match, Odyssey Jones attacks Strong and he goes after Strong and the Creeds.

— We see Toxic Attraction leaving the building.  Jacy says they will be holding these titles for a long time.  Mandy says that they are the attraction.  Mandy says if Kay Lee Ray’s staredown intimidated her, she is wrong.  You are not next. Raquel Gonzalez rides through the MOST DANGEROUS PARKING LOT IN SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT on her motorcyle and she tells Mandy to keep her title warm.

— Raquel drives into the building and makes her way to the ring. Raquel says while Mandy is holding her title, she has one thing on her mind.  She tells Dakota Kai to get her ass out here.

Dakota comes out and says it felt so good to hit you with that shovel.  Watching you lay there, motionless… Cora Jade attacks Dakota from behind and officials have to separate them. Dakota goes to the back and Cora turns around and she almost punches Raquel.  Raquel tells Cora that Dakota is hers first.

— We go to Chase University.

Today’s lesson is about Mental Toughness.  Two words that can mean the difference between success and failure.  Chase University breeds winners.  He tells everyone to visualize their success.  Anything can throw you off your game.  When you lose your mental focus, you are doomed for failure.

Chase is asked if the problem with his mic caused some problems. Chase yells at Gabriel for questioning his mental toughness.  He tells him to leave.  

We go to commercial.

— We see The Grizzled Young Veterans parking and it is time for some Urban Training.  They are tricking some people to order food.  Gibson says if you can distract a complete stranger, you can distract a referee.

Cameron Grimes vs. Ru Feng

Grimes goes for the leg but Feng stays on his feet.  Feng misses a kick and Grimes with a take down.  Grimes with a chop and Feng with a kick.  Feng with an Irish whip that sends Grimes sternum first into the turnbuckles.  Feng with an abdominal stretch. 

Duke Hudson makes his way to ringside.

Grimes with a hip toss to escape and hits a few running forearms.  Grimes with a running boot to the head.  Grimes goes up top and hits a cross body.  Grimes sets for Cave In and hits it for the three count.

Winner:  Cameron Grimes

After the match, Duke Hudson has a mic and he tells Grimes, last week he came into Hudson’s poker room and sat down at his table.  The whole time you were in your own little world.  You weren’t paying attention.  Hudson says he does not know how Grimes won.  Hudson asks if it was dumb luck or did Grimes dupe him.

Grimes says he thinks he won.  You were there, he was there, and everyone saw that Grimes beat Duke.  Wasn’t that fun?  

Hudson says that wasn’t fun and he lost a lot of money.  That won’t happen again.  He won’t lose to someone who looks like a troll living under a bridge. 

Grimes says it is okay what you call him because he has been called a hick before.  I may because he is a little hairy or a little grimy but I hold it down.  It does not matter where it happens, I hold it down.  Grimes says he may like to play dumb at times, but last week, I played you.

Hudson tells Grimes no one out-hustles Duke Hudson.  He will not let it go.  He says you don’t know what losing to someone like you does to someone like me.  Next week, in front of these people, we are going to have a poker show down.

— We see LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, and Grayson Waller getting ready for their match as we go to commercial.

LA Knight vs. Grayson Waller vs. Solo Sikoa

Knight and Waller argue and Sikoa slaps Waller and punches Knight.  Waller hits Sikoa from behind and kicks him.  Knight kicks Sikoa as well but Knight and Waller continue to argue.  Sikoa with a double clothesline and Knight rolls to the floor.  Sikoa with forearms.  Knight pulls the ropes open and Waller falls to the floor.  Knight punches Waller but Sikoa pulls Knight to the apron and back into the ring.  Sikoa with knees to Knight and Waller pulls the ropes down and Knight goes over the top rope to the floor.  Waller drops Sikoa on the top rope.  Knight with a forearm to Sikoa and Knight and Waller with a double suplex.  Knight punches Sikoa.  Waller punches Sikoa.

Knight with an elbow drop to Sikoa and Waller yells at Knight and shows how to hit a leaping elbow drop.  Knight with a splash to Sikoa and Waller with a clothesline.  Waller puts Sikoa on the turnbuckles and Knight pulls Waller off.  Waller pulls Knight off.  Sikoa stays on the turnbuckles and Knight and Waller go for a double superplex but Sikoa gets to the mat and hits a double power bomb.  Sikoa with a forearm to Waller and then he kicks Knight while Waller is on his shoulders.  Sikoa with a Samoan drop and a running hip to Waller but he misses when Knight moves.  Knight with a neck breaker.  Waller with a cravate and knees to Knight followed by a kick to Sikoa.

Waller is sent to the floor and Waller with a rolling cutter.  Sikoa sends Waller to the floor and he hits frog splash for the three count.

Winner:  Solo Sikoa

— McKenzie is with Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta and McKenzie mentions how close they came to winning. Indi starts to talk about Dexter but Tony D’Angelo shows up and he says when he is done pummeling her husband next week, she will be on the market.  He has a gift for Indi to give to Dexter and she says he will get the message.  He gives her a dead fish.

— Elektra Lopez tells Xyon Quinn that she hopes he is watching.

We go to commercial.

— We are back with Tommaso Ciampa from the WWE UK tour.  He talks about his success defending the title on tour.  He says there is no better person to reprsent NXT than him.  He looks at the talent in the locker room and he sees Bron Breakker who is learning and getting better.  There is nothing that anyone can do about 17 years of experience.  You are jumping in the deep end with Tommaso Ciampa.

Elektra Lopez vs. Erica Yan

They lock up and Yan with a clean break.  Yan with an arm drag but Lopez blocks a second attempt and sends Lopez to the mat.  Lopez with an elbow and kicks.  Lopez chokes Yan in the ropes and slaps her.  Lopez with a supelx and then hits a sit out power bomb for the three count.

Winner:  Elektra Lopez

After the match, Lopez says that what she wants, she gets.  She says she wants Xyon Quinn.

Quinn makes his way to the ring. Elektra says Xyon turned a lot of heads last week, especially hers.  She says he was impressive.  Would you like to join Legado del Fantasma? Quinn takes the mic and he tells Elektra that she really is amazing, but he can’t get down with Legado. Wilde says nobody says no to Legado del Fantasma.  Wilde pushes Quinn and Quinn with a double clothesline.  Wilde is sent to the floor and Mendoza is back dropped onto Wilde.

Quinn blocks a few slaps and then he spins Lopez away.  They circle each other and Quinn leaves the ring after teasing a kiss. Lopez holds Wilde and Mendoza back.

— War Games is coming and it will be on December 5th.

We go to commercial.

— We are back and Kyle O’Reilly is asked about last week’s match.  Kyle says the referee made a mistake last week.  Kyle says his career is uncertain.  Should he stay a singles wrestler or go after the tag titles.  He says they will go after the titles. Imperium shows up and they back off when Von Wagner shows up.

— Next week, we have the Poker Showdown between Duke Hudson and Cameron Grimes as well as Tony D’Angelo versus Dexter Lumis.

Pete Dunne vs. Carmelo Hayes

Dunne with a forearm as the bell rings followed by kicks.  Hayes with a kick and side head lock.  Dunne with a clothesline.  Dunne with a hammer lock and take down.  Dunne stomps on the head.  Dunne works on the hand and he pulls it back.  Dunne stomps on the hand.  Hayes flips over Dunne and connects with a kick and a springboard clothesline.  Hayes with punches to Dunne.  Hayes with a kick to the arm.  Dunne with a wrist lock and kick to the arm.  Dunne with a wrist lock and Hayes pulls the hair and pushes Dunne away.  Hayes is sent to the apron and Dunne workso n the arm and Hayes falls to the floor.  Dunne slingshots to the floor but Hayes sends Dunne into the apron.

Hayes goes for a suplex on the floor but Dunne blocks it and Dunne with an X Plex on the apron.  

Dexter Lumis shows up at the announce table “to do commentary” (without saying a word) and Williams freaks out.

Dunne with a forearm. Hayes goes to the floor and Dunne sends Hayes into the announce table. Dunne with a forearm across the chest. Dunne with a surfboard and Dunne sends Hayes face first into the mat. Hayes gets to the ropes and Dunne kicks the hand. Dunne with a chop. Dunne with an arm bar and then he works on the other arm and pulls at the fingers. Dunne with a boot to the head. Hayes with punches and Dunne with a forearm that sends Hayes to the mat. Dunne with a hammer lock and he works on the other arm as well.

Dunne starts to work on the leg and he drives the knee into the mat. Dunne kicks Hayes in the arm. Hayes with kicks to the leg but Dunne with a kick and running knee to the temple. Dunne misses a running knee and Hayes with a Codebreaker. Hayes gets a near fall. Hayes runs into a boot from Dunne. Hayes gets Dunne up and hits a facebuster followed by a clothesline. Hayes with a forearm into the corner. Dunne misses a clothesline and Hayes hits a power bomb for a near fall. Hayes misses a forearm in the corner and Dunne with a kick and double knee drop to the arm. Dunne with a sit out power bomb for a near fall.

Dunne with an enzuigiri and Hayes with a bicycle kick.  Hayes with a springboard move but he turns into a forearm from Dunne.  Hayes with a suplex into a TKO for a near fall.  Hayes with forearms and Dunne fires back.  Hayes with La Mistica into a GargaNo Escape.  Dunne drives Hayes’ hand into the mat to escape the hold.  Dunne with kicks to the head and Hayes with a forearm.  Dunne with a German suplex and he stomps on Williams’ hands when he tries to get involved.  Dunne with a round kick and Hayes sends Dunne throat first into the ropes.

Lumis punches Williams.  Someone reaches from under the ring and goes after Hayes’ boot.  Dunne with the Bitter End for the three count.

Winner:  Pete Dunne

After the match, Dunne stands tall as the music hits. Gargano appears from under the ring and now we know it was him who distracted Hayes. Dunne looks back and forth between Gargano and Hayes. Gargano is all smiles at ringside. Hayes sits up in the corner and clutches the NXT North American Title belt as Trick stands next to him from ringside. NXT 2.0 goes off the air.
