Tonight’s RAW is slated to be a big show as it will mark the second night of this year’s WWE Draft after it kicked off last week on Friday Night SmackDown.
Just like how WWE handled SmackDown, WWE is being extremely secretive about the script for RAW, according to PWinsider.com. It was said many people in the company who “are usually aware of the initial plans for the show are completely in the dark.”
On a related note about WWE keeping people in the dark, during Saturday’s Talking Smack episode, WWE announced additional Draft picks. The report stated that several of those wrestlers learned about the moves through social media. One source in WWE defended the company for not telling the wrestlers ahead of time by noting that the Draft moves won’t take effect for several weeks. Thus, it wasn’t a situation where talent had to change their travel schedule on short notice.
The changes to the rosters will be put into effect on the October 22nd episode of SmackDown, which is the night after the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event.
