Lio Rush has signed with All Elite Wrestling.
The former WWE Superstar appeared in a vignette on this week’s AEW Dynamite to hype his return. Rush wrestled once for the company in the Casino Battle Royale earlier this year at the Double Or Nothing pay-per-view.
The 26-year-old was released last year by WWE due to budget cuts. He went on to work for several independent promotions including Game Changer Wrestling and he worked for New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Earlier this year Rush announced his retirement after an injury sustained at Double Or Nothing but it appears that he has been cleared for action.
It was later confirmed on social media that Rush is officially “All Elite.”
