Kofi Kingston Not Cleared To Compete – Kofi Kingston was notably absent from WWE SummerSlam, and he didn’t appear on the following episode of RAW when his tag team partner, Xavier Woods had a match.
In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Kingston isn’t cleared right now.
“…PWInsider.com has been told by multiple sources that he is not currently cleared to perform,” writesJohnson.
Johnson notes that Kingston wasn’t on the road this past weekend, and his planned involvement in the promotional segment for the Pure Life Purified Water brand was scrapped.
Previously, some reports indicated that a feud between The New Day and The Miz and John Morrison had been planned. But after The Miz turned on Morrison on RAW, it’s fair to say that WWE went in a different direction.
