Hikaru Shida had teased over the weekend that she was looking to change up her look as part of what she called a restart.
Shida debuted a new look during this week’s episode of AEW Dark: Elevation when she worked Diamante in a singles match that saw the former AEW Women’s Champion go over in the headliner.
She took to Instagram to share a photo of herself with shorter hair by writing, “New Shida is here.”
The AEW Dark: Elevation episode also featured Santana & Ortiz, Ethan Page, Brian Cage & Powerhouse Hobbs, The Acclaimed and Scorpio Sky in action.
The Japanese star lost to Dr. Britt Baker at the Double Or Nothing PPV event in her final title defense as Women’s Champion during her first reign.
