WWE is gearing up for this year’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view event as it takes place tonight in St. Petersburg, Florida at Tropicana Field.
Fightful Select reports WWE informed Performance Center talent that they may be needed as extras for the show. There’s no word as to what WWE could have planned for them, but it appears they may not be for a physical role.
Per the report, they could be used in a segment including rapper Bad Bunny, who will be performing his song ‘Booker T.”
It wasn’t mentioned whether WWE has plans to use them in the Royal Rumble matches either. There are several spots still available for both the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches.
The final betting odds for the show are out ahead of the broadcast tonight on the WWE Network.
