AEW Double Or Nothing is still taking place on May 23rd. Fans now have their first match booked for the annual Memorial Day weekend show and it’s a big one.
The TNT Championship will be awarded to the inaugural champion at AEW Double Or Nothing. This week on AEW Dynamite, fans saw the two semi-final matches in the tournament.
Cody Rhodes defeated Darby Allin by using Allin’s Coffin Drop against him and getting a pinfall. The main event match was a brutal encounter where Lance Archer bloodied Dustin Rhodes all around the closed-set taping location. Lance Archer defeated Dustin Rhodes to advance to the finals of the TNT Championship Tournament.
An official location has yet to be announce for the upcoming PPV, although AEW reportedly has plans to move back to Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, beginning next week.
