WWE Making Big Changes To WrestleMania 36 Women’s Title Matches ** SPOILERS **

WWE Making Big Changes To WrestleMania 36 Women's Title Matches

The following article may contains spoilers for next month’s WrestleMania 36.

It looks like WWE has made a change to the plans for the Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WrestleMania 36.

The original internal card had Natalya and Beth Phoenix (Divas of Doom) taking on The Kabuki Warriors for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. However, it looks like Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross will also be involved in the match because Bliss has issued a challenge via Twitter.

talkSPORT’s Alex McCarthy is reporting that the plan is for The Kabuki Warriors to defend against Bliss/Cross and Natalya/Phoenix in a Three-Way Tag Team match.

It’s not clear when Phoenix will be back on TV since she was taken out by Randy Orton last week but I would assume that she will be appearing on WWE programming in the next couple of weeks to set up the angle for the Women’s Tag match.

McCarthy also reported that WWE is currently planning to have a six-pack challenge take place at WrestleMania 36.

This match would see Bayley defend the title against Sasha Banks, Lacey Evans, Carmella and one unknown star.

“A source tells me the plan for the SD women’s title at WM36 is a six-pack challenge right now. Bayley v Sasha v Naomi v Lacey Evans v Carmella – that’s five of the six names. The source speculates Bayley and Sasha would prefer to hold off their major singles PPV match, too.”

He later added in the thread of the tweet, “I hate tweeting things like this because WWE/wrestling is so fluid and the source even said ‘as of this morning’ alluding to the possibility of change. But, they haven’t let me down yet so let’s see!”

There’s no word on who might be the sixth woman in the Six-Pack Challenge but it’s worth noting that WWE Hall Of Famer Trish Stratus has teased possibly stepping in the ring with Banks.
