Cody Rhodes is doing all he can to get fans excited for his match on the premiere episode of AEW Dynamite.
Dynamite premieres tonight at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. At this show, Rhodes is slated to wrestle Sammy Sammy Guevara in a singles match.
Rhodes spoke to the media on Tuesday and during the call, he talked about his match with Guevara.
This is where he stated that if Guevara beats him then he’ll replace him at the Full Gear pay-per-view event against AEW Champion Chris Jericho.
“I would like to make it clear, that if Sammy Guevara beats me, I’m not going to Full Gear to wrestle Chris Jericho, by no means. Sammy Guevara will be able to take my place if he wins on the first episode of Dynamite. So, the stakes are high.”
