This week on RAW, WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman joined forces to make an unlikely duo.
The two superstars faced the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions the O.C. (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) in a championship match. Despite the tense relationship between Strowman and Rollins, the make-shift team won the match and the WWE RAW Tag Team Championship.
Gallows and Strowman started the match before Rollins and Anderson tagged in. The numbers game let the O.C. get the upper hand on Rollins as Gallows slammed him rib-first into the barricade. Anderson maintained control of the match and continued to ground Rollins. The O.C. continued to isolate Rollins from his partner. The BeastSlayer persevered and single-handedly took the fight to the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions. AJ Styles knocked Rollins off the top but the champion kicked out after a double-team maneuver. Strowman took down Styles and the distraction let Rollins tag in the Monster Among Men.
The Big Man cleared house and pinned Anderson. With the victory, Strowman and Rollins became the new WWE RAW Tag Team Champions.
Rollins is now a five-time RAW Tag Team Champion while Strowman is a two-time RAW Tag Team Champion, but this is their first reign together. Gallows and Anderson won the titles back on the July 29 RAW by winning a Triple Threat over The Usos and former champions The Revival.
