– There is a rumor going around that Jeff Jarrett is actually being considered for the WWE Hall of Fame this year.
Jarrett abruptly left WWE in 1999 for WCW and has rarely been mentioned on WWE television since that time. At the time, there were conflicting reports that Jarrett held up the WWE for money after his contract had expired in exchange for dropping the Intercontinental Title to Chyna.
Vince McMahon publicly fired Jarrett on the March 26th, 2001 edition of RAW when it was revealed that McMahon had purchased WCW.
