As noted via womens-wrestling.com, Bayley was recently injured and it happened at the worst possible time. As seen on last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, she competed in a singles match against Nia Jax. Bayley was injured during the match.
WWE announced last week in an article on their official website that Bayley, who is set to challenge Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Title at the upcoming Summerslam PPV (pay-per-view) event later this month, suffered a right shoulder injury during the match.
As seen in the video at womens-wrestling.com, WWE has announced that Bayley will not be able to compete at SummerSlam due to her suffering a separated shoulder. She will appear on tonight’s episode of Raw. We will likely find out who Bliss will be defending the championship against at SummerSlam as well.
