– Tonight’s show will also feature a State of the Knockouts Address with Maria Kanellis, Moose’s debut, the start of the Bound For Glory Playoffs and X Division Champion Eddie Edwards vs. World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley inside Six Sides of Steel.
– The 2016 WWE Backlash pay-per-view will take place on September 11th from the Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, VA. Tickets go on sale via Ticketmaster pre-sale on Wednesday, July 27th. This is the same day TNA had their Bound For Glory pay-per-view scheduled but apparently it may be moved to October.
– We noted in our recent “One Night Only: X Division Xtravaganza” spoiler report that the Suicide character returned to TNA with its original name. TJ Perkins, now working the WWE Cruiserweight Classic, last portrayed the character under the name Manik. The man behind the mask this time is indie wrestler Jonathan Gresham. No word yet on if Suicide will return to Impact Wrestling soon.
